Nisa Amoils

Managing Partner

Nisa serves as Managing Partner and Founder of A100x Ventures, with over 13 years in venture capital investing in frontier technologies including blockchain and AI. She has invested at the earliest stages of several blockchain and AI startups, including Securitize, Nansen, Mythical, and Blockdaemon, and is deeply passionate about supporting early-stage founders building emerging technologies.

Previously, Nisa was a securities and corporate lawyer at Anderson Kill and held strategy and marketing roles at IAC and Time Warner. A Forbes contributor and producer/host of Nasdaq’s Business of Blockchain show, Nisa was named a Top 50 Woman in Web3 (2024) and a leading blockchain thought leader for many consecutive years.

She holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and a Board degree from Harvard Business School.

Frank Amato

Venture Partner

Frank Amato serves as Venture Partner at A100x, leveraging 18 years of traditional finance experience and nearly a decade in blockchain investing. He is passionate about supporting early-stage founders building projects that redefine financial systems and markets.

Before joining A100x, Frank was an Executive Director at JP Morgan, where he was an industry leader in market making and options trading in precious metals. Frank has since become a prominent angel investor in blockchain fintech, including pre-seed investments in Bitmex Exchange and participation in Blockchain Capital’s AngelList syndicate. Frank also serves as a Blockchain and Web3 Advisor to the London Bullion Market Association.

Frank holds a Bachelors in Information Studies and a Minor in Philosophy from Syracuse University.

Sal Ternullo

Managing Partner

Sal Ternullo serves as Managing Partner at A100x Ventures, with over a decade of experience in financial services and web3. He is passionate about investing into technologies that have the opportunity to re-shape failing systems and supporting founders on their journeys.

Sal’s focus on early-stage investing stems from his drive to shape emerging industries and scale transformative technologies. He previously operated an early-stage web3 venture fund and held leadership roles at top financial institutions and consulting firms, where he built a $20M Big 4 consulting business. He also co-authored a 2021 whitepaper that inspired Texas consumer protection legislation in 2023.

Sal holds a Bachelor’s in Corporate Finance and Accounting and a Master’s in Accountancy with a Certificate in Forensics and Fraud Investigation from Bentley University.
